I am so excited to share pictures of the Ania tunic from my wonderful testers. The pattern is still on sale for $6.00 only! It will become your child's wardrobe staple. Grab it here.
I originally made the tunic to go with Wild and Free Pants. I wanted to make something sweet and classic, something that has timeless design and appeal. I think, the final version of the pattern is exactly how I imagined it to be.
Versatility in patterns is important to me. I like when the pattern offers a few options to choose from, so you can make a completely different look using the same pattern. It tends to be cold where we live, so a long sleeve option was a must. The sleeve is slightly gathered with a cuff at the bottom.
The woven version has a simple buttonloop closure in the back. Two or even three button loops can be added. Or pretty trim can be used instead to make ties.
The tunic has a nice swingy shape to it.
The tunic comes in sizes 9-12 months through 12 years and I think it works great for girls of any age!
Just a few more bow pockets for you! Sweet.
